The sidewalk will run on the west side of Murray Road, connecting to the existing curb ramps at Jenkins Road. Some of the existing curbs will be repaired or replaced.
The sidewalk will extend to the west side of the eastern Terman Road ramp, connecting to the Beaverton Creek Trail. Bike lanes will also be extended on the southbound side of the ramp to the trail. The travel lanes on the ramp will be narrowed to accommodate the bike lane.
Two Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps will be installed on the western side of the Murray Boulevard and Terman Road intersection. The ramps will connect to the sidewalk south of the intersection.
Street lighting will also be added.
On Murray Boulevard, the sidewalk will be six feet wide. The bike lane will remain five feet wide with a two-foot buffer between it and the 12-foot travel lane.
On the eastern Terman Road ramp, the sidewalk will also be six feet wide. We will build a five-foot bike lane with a two-foot buffer. The travel lane will be reduced to 12 feet.
